Hassan Abdulrazzak's first play, Baghdad Wedding, was staged at Soho Theatre, London, in 2007. Hassan was awarded the 2008 George Devine and Meyer-Whitworth Awards and the 2009 Pearson Award.
Henry Adam was born in Wick in North-East Scotland and worked in youth and community before his first professional play, Among Unbroken Hearts (Traverse), jointly won the 2000 Meyer-Whitworth Best New Play Award.
Christopher Adams is a British-American playwright. His plays include: Open, written with Timothy Allsop (VAULT Festival, London, 2019); Tumulus (VAULT 2018, winner of an Origins Award for Outstanding New Work); Antigone (UK tour); Cooked (Bread & Roses Theatre) and Shelter (Shanghai Repertory Theatre). He has received short-play commissions from the Royal Court Theatre and Theatre503, and his plays Lynchburg (2013) and Haunts (2015) made the top-forty list for the Bruntwood Prize. He is a US Fulbright Scholar.
Bola Agbaje's plays have been seen at the Royal Court Theatre, Hampstead Theatre and the Young Vic, amongst others. Her debut play, Gone Too Far!, won the 2008 Olivier Award for Outstanding Achievement in an Affiliate Theatre.
Zia Ahmed is a poet and playwright from North West London. He was shortlisted for Young Poet Laureate for London 2015/16 and is a former Roundhouse Poetry Slam champion. His plays include I Wanna Be Yours (Paines Plough & Tamasha, 2019).
